The Shade Tree Short Course offers a variety of speakers with a broad range of topics. Teri will be sharing a talk, Growing Community Through Gardening. This is a topic very close to Teri’s heart. From her many roles as a Founding Farmer of the Eitt CSA, Stafford County, Virginia to the current co-chair of Fiesta Place Community Garden in Maryland, growing a community with hands in the earth has been a huge part of her journey.

Teri will share a few experiences from her work with the National Wildlife Federation with gardens in Baltimore to the current work in her community in District Heights, Maryland to connect all who show interest in growing and building community.
