Horticultural happiness is achieved in many ways. One of those ways is networking with like-minded people. Great things happen when you find and embrace the things that bring you joy…or horticultural happiness. Here is a recently featured blog post from one of the most beautiful and enjoyable days in June. It was a day spent with fellow Garden Writers and Communicators in the Hunt Country of Maryland. Revisiting Ladew Topiary Gardens, finding out about new local resources like Manor Farm and Cavanno Perennials and breaking bread with people who are in the industry was such a surreal experience. I must say, I cultivated new relationships, chatted with old friends, discovered new places and learned a lot – THANK YOU ANNE MCCORMICK & KIRK RYAN BROWN!!!
I look forward to being the best Garden Writer and Communicator that I can be. Making time to explore, improve and share your passion…,well it simply brings me joy as well as extreme horticultural happiness!!! Thank You GWA!!!!!
I never imagined finding a place where I could learn the latest in horticulture, be exposed to leaders in this industry and find resources that help me share my love of gardening to those that follow my blog. One would be surprised at the level of expertise and the willingness to help growing garden writers and communicators that are readily available, upon becoming a member.
