Such a gorgeous and peaceful Saturday morning in Clinton, Md. This country needs so much healing in so many ways,  perhaps embracing and pausing to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us would make a difference. I am attending a prayer breakfast on behalf of domestic violence this morning. I wish there was a prayer breakfast for our young people as well. They need someone to talk to, they need an outlet for their anxiety, their discontent, their pain. Perhaps incorporating gardening as a resource could start the healing process.
As a gardener, I know how connecting wirh the earth can help ease sorrow,  pain and emotional distress. Remembering how gardening helped me through divorce, the loss of my mother as well as empty nest syndrome. Gardening can be a resource for healing.
Take a walk, community wirh nature and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
